Hi there - I am Johannes
Growing up in beautiful Bavaria (Germany), I ended up in London 6 years ago after spending time in Switzerland and the US. At Mosaic I am heading our Analytics function which also includes managing our proprietary origination platform.
Prior to Mosaic I spent 5 years in different roles across consulting and private equity, all evolving around applying analytics and data science in a commercial context. While my more recent focus has been on enabling more data driven decision making in the VC/PE space, I spent the first 4 years of my career advising retail and leisure businesses on topics like product mix & strategy, offer customisation, pricing, promotion, location strategy and customer retention.
Outside of work you’ll find me travelling (while trying to keep my plants alive), scuba diving, spending time with my family and friends as well as staying up to date on various topics like politics, history, aviation, Formula 1 (and more recently) aquascaping.
